Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter (Erica)

          

  I am currently reading The Scarlet Letter. I have wanted to read this book for some time and now I can finally do that. The Scarlet Letter is easily considered a classic and I hope to understand and see its timelessness after reading the book. I was first drawn to this book because of Hawthorne’s writing style. By reading this, I want to see how his word choices create effective writing and get a better understanding of his writing style. I may be also able to understand a bit more of what it was like during that time period.
